RECOMMENDED FOODS

Of course you're welcome to use your own dog foods. Always use your own research when it comes to finding the right food for your own dog. This is just to help if you don't know of any dog foods.

Most puppies have 3- 4 meals a day spaced out for the first 6 months. After 6 months 2 meals a day morning and night. Make sure you puppy has regular set times to eat so they become accustomed to their schedule, it help with training. Always supervise you puppies eating. Sometimes the puppies graze thier food and sometimes they eat it all.

4-8lbs ½-1 cup, 9-14lbs 1-2cups.

If your trying a different food, introduce it slowly to avoid potty accidents, the runs, or upset stomach. Transitioning should take one week. First feed mix 25% new food/75% breeder food first two days, 50-50 day 3-4, 75% new food /25%breeder food day 5-6, 100% new food day 7 onward. During the early stages of the puppies life it is important to give them rich nutrient food for their growing body needs.

Food Must:

It’s also important to give your dog foods (example: veggies, meats, fruit, eggs, etc.) aside from kibble that is safe for dogs to eat to ensure the doggie is getting their proper nutritional needs met, in which a dog can’t rely on only kibble for all their nutritional needs.
